Meet Our Advisors

Jon has held a number of high-level positions in the real estate industry. Prior to founding Meridian Advisors Jon served as the Chief Litigation Appraiser for the Ramsey County Assessor’s Office. In this role, Jon was responsible for negotiating settlements of some of the county’s most difficult and complex tax court cases. Jon has negotiated hundreds of settlements and has valued billions of dollars worth of real estate in his career. Jon has been qualified as an expert witness by the Minnesota Tax Court and has written numerous Tax Court appraisals on the county’s behalf. Jon was also recently the keynote speaker for the St. Paul BOMA seminar on Property Tax Assessments and Appeals. In recent years Jon has also brokered some of the area’s most notable land transactions.
