Prior to founding Meridian Property Tax Advisors Jake was the Senior Commercial Appraiser for the City of Brooklyn Parks’ Assessors Office. In this role Jake valued the city’s most complex commercial properties and set the annual tax assessment for over 500 commercial, industrial and apartment properties. Jake has negotiated hundreds of property tax appeals and has been qualified as an expert witness by the Minnesota tax Court.

Prior to founding Meridian Property Tax Advisors Jon served as the Chief Litigation Appraiser for the Ramsey County Assessor’s Office. In this role, Jon was responsible for negotiating settlements of some of the county’s most difficult and complex tax court cases. Jon has negotiated hundreds of settlements and has valued billions of dollars worth of real estate in his career. Jon has been qualified as an expert witness by the Minnesota Tax Court and has written numerous Tax Court appraisals on the county’s behalf. Jon was also a keynote speaker for the St. Paul BOMA seminar on Property Tax Assessments and Appeals.
